Damn, i have always have the doubt, though its never happen to me yet...
If i was the person in the car and stopped to help her up,( or anybody after a big crash) If she was a bad person could she then blame me for the accident since (the real person responsible escaped)
What im asking is, have any of you heard a story like that?

In theory, you should be protected by what's called the "Good Samaritan Law", the short version of which is "people rendering reasonable aid are shielded from being sued for that aid". It may vary between jurisdictions, and certainly from country to country. In Germany, for example, you're required in many cases to stop and give aid. There's a whole section on that in the manual of our '04 Jetta. There's a good write-up on it from Princeton: http://www.princeton.edu/~achaney/tmve/…

In the US people get sued all of the time for helping people, it's sick and unfortunately a shitty aspect of the "sue everyone" mentality that some Americans have. It's sad when you have to worry about being sued before haloing someone. There have been many case of people being sued for saving someone from choking by using the heimlich maneuver and breaking a rib in the process.
